TASC: Tangibles for Augmenting Spatial Cognition

Sspatial ability has been shown to be a strong predictor to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) learning and career success. Spatial sense-making and manipulation are also important to post-WIMP interaction design (Windows, Icons, Menus, and Pointers). Grounded on embodied cognition theories, TASC uses tangible and virtual technologies to engage and improve spatial ability.
